Pecan Biscuits

These biscuits make a nice and light snack. We like that they are not overly sweet. Great with coffee. Best of all, the ingredients are recognizable and clean.

I paired these with some hot tea and it was absolutely delicious. I'm sure they would be great with some jam and cheese too. A little expensive for me but they were very yummy.

The Effie pecan biscuits are so delicious. I snacked on half the box. I ate them by themselves. The other half was eaten with some cheese. I would love to try the almond or walnut next time.

You could totally make this into a dessert board too, with frosting and fruits instead; it's just that versatile. The texture is dense but crisp, buttery like a shortbread cookie but less crumbly. It has a subtly toasted, nutty flavor that plays well with any accoutrements. It's honestly tempting just to snack on them solo. I do wish the package was resealable but let's be honest: These things aren't going back into the cabinet once you open them up. Addictive and delicious, 10 stars across the board.
