Effie's Rewards Program

 

Welcome to Effie’s Loyalty Rewards! We’re pleased to offer this exciting incentive program called “Effie Dollars” to eligible customers.   

Effie Dollars Overview 

Effie Dollars is a customer-based loyalty program that rewards members with incentive points towards future purchases.  The effective date of the updated program is Aug 17th 2018.

Effie Dollars has no enrollment or annual fee.  Customers will be automatically entered into Effie’s Homemade Loyalty program once they create an account and place their first order. Further, by accepting the loyalty discounts, each customer agrees to abide by Effie’s Homemade Terms and Conditions.   

Eligibility

The program is available to all non-wholesale account members. Members must be 18 years or older and legal residents of the United States. All member transactions are billed in U.S. dollars.  This program is void where prohibited by law.

Point Accrual

Points are earned on each and every qualified purchase through the Effie's store. Effie Dollar points are automatically added to your account for all eligible purchases and can be redeemed on any future purchase at any time.

Points accrued in your program account for any given year will be carried forward on each enrollment date anniversary, provided all other conditions set forth herein have been met.

Purchases made between November 15th, 2011 and August 14th, 2018 have been converted into our updated point system and still qualify for reward points. Products that do not qualify for Effie Dollars will be noted in the product descriptions. You will not accrue points in your program account for including but not limited to the following: applicable sales tax and processing fees, shipping and handling fees. 

Points accrued do not constitute property of the member and are not transferable by operation of law or otherwise to any person or entity and cannot be transferred to any other account.

Credits posted to your account, including those arising from returned goods or services, will change the points accrued in your program account.  If a credit posted to your account reduces the program account balance below the minimum required to convert points into or redeem a reward, we reserve the right to decline your request to convert points into or redeem a reward.

Members do not earn points for the amount of any points redeemed or discounts applied. In the event that a Member returns merchandise that was partially or wholly paid for with rewards points, no points will be reissued to such Member’s account. Other exclusions may apply.

Usage of Points

Loyalty Points can be applied at check-out to generate a discount on purchases.  Generally, 10 points earned equates to a $1 discount on a future purchase.  A payment type will appear in the payment section if an account has redeemable points. Points will only be applied against the sub-total of eligible purchases. Customer continues the normal payment process for the remaining balance on the order.  Unused points will be retained in the account balance. Once a customer selects “Use my reward points,” it cannot be reversed. 

Point value is subject to change at the discretion of Effie’s Homemade, at any time.  Points have no cash value. Points that remain on Member’s account will expire and will be forfeited if the Program is terminated by Effie's Homemade at any given point in the future. 

Forfeiture

Fraud or abuse relating to the accrual of points or redemption of rewards may result in forfeiture of accrued points as well as cancellation of your program account and any Effie’s Homemade account.

Accrued Points are subject to expiration and forfeiture if the account holder has not made a purchase from the Effie's store in a six month period.

Effie’s Homemade may terminate your access or suspend your eligibility for the Loyalty program and its benefits or terminate your right of access to all or part of the Site, without notice, for any conduct that we, in our sole discretion, believe is in violation of any applicable law or is harmful to the interests of another user, Associates, or Effie’s Homemade.

Clearance or sale items may not be eligible. See the product details page to confirm eligibility. When items are added to the shopping cart, the shopping cart displays totals of all loyalty points that will be received for completing the purchase. Points will be available for use after payment has been received for the purchase.

General Conditions

Effie’s Homemade Loyalty Rewards membership and its benefits are offered at the discretion of Effie’s Homemade. We reserve the right, without limitation, to terminate, change, limit, modify, or cancel any Program rules, regulations, benefits, or conditions of participation at any time, with or without notice, even though such changes may affect the value of Points already accumulated and/or the ability to use accumulated Points toward Rewards Certificates). Effie’s Homemade may, among other things: (i) increase or decrease the number of Points earned on a Qualifying Purchase; (ii) increase the number of Points required to earn a Rewards Certificate; (iii) institute or add blackout dates; (iv) modify Point expiration dates; and/or (v) limit the number of Rewards Certificates for use by a Member on a single purchase.

Effie’s Homemade reserves the right to make bonus Points and other promotional offers available to select Members based on purchase activity, geographic location, Program participation, and/or information supplied by the Member. Effie’s Homemade reserves the right to add, withdraw, amend, or otherwise change bonus opportunities at any time at its sole discretion, with or without notice to Members.

Effie’s Homemade, its subsidiaries and affiliate entities, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the "Released Parties") make no warranty, express or implied, including, but not limited to, any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose with respect to the Program, membership in the Program, or any products or services related to the Program.

We may change these terms described at any time in our sole discretion by posting the updated Terms on the Site. You waive any right you may have to receive specific notice of such changes, and your continued participation in the Program will constitute your acceptance. You should therefore periodically visit this page to review the then-current Terms to which you are bound.

Effie’s Homemade reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Loyalty program or to be in violation of the Terms & Conditions of the web site.  Effie’s Homemade. will prosecute any fraudulent activities to the full extent of the law.

Abuse of the program, including failure to follow program policies and procedures, the sale or barter of rewards points or promotional offers, and any misrepresentation of fact relating thereto or other improper conduct as determined by Effie’s Homemade in its sole judgment may result in cancellation of a Member’s account and future disqualification from Program participation, forfeiture of all Points accrued, and cancellation of previously issued but unused Rewards Points

Points are not transferable and may not be combined among Members or conveyed by any means to anyone, including through a Member’s estate, and may not pass to a Member’s successors and assigns. Accrued points do not constitute property of the Member. Accrued points are not transferable by the Member upon death, as part of a domestic relations matter, or otherwise.
